Equipment

  • Wide-Mouth Mason Jar
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

The Base

  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt or 2% for a lighter version
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, to sweeten
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional

The Toppings

  • 1/4 cup granola low-sugar variety recommended
  • 1/2 cup fresh mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or hemp seeds for extra protein and fiber

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder stir into yogurt before layering
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter drizzled on top

Instructions

  • If sweetening the yogurt, stir honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract directly into the Greek yogurt until combined.
  • Spoon a layer of Greek yogurt into the bottom of a wide-mouth mason jar or glass.
  • Add a layer of fresh mixed berries over the yogurt, then a layer of granola on top of the berries.
  • Repeat the layers — yogurt, berries, granola — until the jar is full. Finish with a final spoonful of yogurt on top.
  • Top with a few whole berries, a sprinkle of chia or hemp seeds, and a light drizzle of honey. Serve immediately or seal and refrigerate for up to 2 days with granola stored separately.

Notes

Meal prep tip: Store granola separately in a small bag or container and add it right before eating to keep it crunchy. The yogurt and berry layers keep well in a sealed jar for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. To boost protein past 35g, stir one scoop of vanilla protein powder into the yogurt before layering.
